The Abbot's Advisory Council is made up of Novice and Transmitted Priests of the Mokurai Silent Thunder Order. The Council meets periodically to assist the Abbot, Board of Directors, and Practice Leaders in their efforts to support and enhance Zen training throughout our Affiliate network.
Mentoring Support
The information below is a listing of mentoring support services Novice and Transmitted Priests are presently able and willing to offer. We wish to encourage the efforts being made by Practice Leaders, Disciples, and General Members towards enhancing Zen practice. Whether you are a Practice Leader trying to iron out the details of running a retreat, a Disciple considering starting a sitting group or a Member wishing to discuss a detail of zazen practice and living a Zen life, please don’t hesitate to give us a shout.
